VISUAL PAGERS The Visual Restaurant Paging System is available in multi-number 2- or 3-digit systems, each with its own advantages. The 2-digit display will show 6 numbers and the 3-digit display will show 4 numbers at a time before rotating to the next set of numbers. More than 25 different numbers can be paged at one time on either system. The 3-digit system offers the advantage of increased waiting list capacity or series identification. With a 3-digit system, many restaurants will use a “hundreds series” numbering protocol: call ahead reservations in the 500 series, big tops in the 600 series and smoking in the 900 series.
